YCLP Council Application

YCLP Alumni have grown to be a large group of beef advocates. It is ACA’s hope to continue to educate and cultivate a group of young leaders for this industry. As a member of the YCLP Council you will serve a two-year term and can apply again if desired.

Responsibilities:
• Plan one YCLP alumni event during the year to educate alumni on current issues and serve as a networking opportunity.
• Aid in planning current class tours.
• Attend YCLP tours in your area – have at least one Council member at each session to talk about their experience.
• Be a contact for your graduating class to encourage them to stay involved.
• Elect one person to sit on board of directors as a non-voting member to learn the leadership structure of ACA.
• Attend quarterly YCLP Council meetings.
• Participate in YCLP Council industry tour.

Those elected will serve a two-year term beginning March 2025. Open seats are available in Classes 5, 7, 9, and 11. Please note that the class 5 representative will serve a one-year term, ending in February 2026.

Deadline to apply is February 5, 2025.
