BQA reflects a positive public image and instills consumer confidence in the beef industry. When producers implement BQA recommended practices, they assure their cattle are the best they can be. When better quality beef reaches the supermarket, consumers are more confident in the beef they are buying, and this increases beef consumption.

The following programs are designed to train participants in BQA recommended practices. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in all four interactive rotations to learn about:

Different options for animal identification and record keeping, as well as how to most effectively manage the data recorded for improved herd production and profitability
How to evaluate brood cows every year based on ‘Seven Quality Checks’
Safe livestock handling and hauling
How to administer all animal health products to beef cattle

A meal will be provided for participants that register before the event.
